Three words that highlight the purpose of this project. Having locs myself I noticed the negative ideology associated with the people who wear them. I shot with some people who all have came into my life at various points in time. We shot in the Mt. Vernon Plaza area in Columbus, Ohio. Your hair is an extension of you. Locs are powerful. They come in different colors, shapes, sizes...all beautiful. I wanted to highlight that magic. The people were intentional and the location was intentional. Enjoy.
